The Davey Tree/Minute Men Ohio Open is Ohio’s most prestigious tournament, and attracts the best professional and amateur golfers from throughout the state. This year’s championship—presented by Pyramid Treating and ACE a Division of Meritech, Inc.—will be held July 16-18, at Weymouth Country Club and Fox Meadow Country Club.

The first day, the field will be split and play either Weymouth Country Club (7,007 yard, par 72) or Fox Meadow (6,917 yard, par 72). The second day, the field will be flipped and play the opposite course. After play on the second day, the field will be cut to include the top 60 players plus ties. The remaining golfers will play out Wednesday’s final round at Weymouth.

This year, Chase Wilson of Zanesville, will look to defend his 2017 title. Last year, Wilson shot a pair of 65s over the three day tournament, but Jake Scott of Strongsville and Jake McBride of Hartville weren’t giving up without a fight. It took Wilson’s clutch three consecutive birdies over the last three holes on the final day to secure his two stroke win.

The Section is excited to have Davey Tree back for the fourth year as the event’s title sponsor, and excited to welcome back Minute Men as a title sponsor. In addition, we’d like to thank Pyramid Treating for their long-standing partnership with this event and the Northern Ohio PGA. We are also pleased to welcome ACE a Division of Meritech, Inc. as a presenting sponsor.
