COLUMBUS, Ohio — Last week central Ohio resident Dave Shedloski wrote an amazing story in Golf Digest on the decline of the legendary of golf architect, Pete Dye, due to his ongoing battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Initial symptoms apparently began to arise in 2015 as he finished up his renovation of his first golf course, The Golf Club, which is situated off Kitzmiller Road in New Albany.

While he is still playing golf and physically fit at the age of 92, Dye has lost his ability to be arguably the greatest golf architect on the planet.
